About us:

Parrhouses is wholly run by myself, Dominic Parr. I am married with 2 small children and attended Bristol University. All the houses are owned by members of the Parr family and the business was started in 1982 by my father, Trevor Parr. We now have over 400 rooms.

Parrhouses prides itself in good customer service and I know each and every tenant personally. As a team we carry out the management of our properties in the way we would hope to be dealt with ourselves.

We are unusual in the amount of unsolicited thank you letters we get from ex tenants every year. Ours was the first website to have a testimonial section but remains the only one with totally unedited, genuine comments. Please have a look and talk to my tenants when you view a house – their opinions are the best research you can do.

I understand what a big step it is signing on to your first house and how scary the financial implications can seem and I will help you make sense of it. I also appreciate that you deserve to be treated with respect having entrusted me with the job of providing a home for you.

We have a core team of 7 people who help me manage the business but this swells to over 30 to take care of the huge amount of remedial work or renovations required every summer. All our workmen are qualified with many years of experience behind them.

We have only ever bought good quality properties with generous bedroom sizes in the most selected, central locations.

Our tenants appreciate what we do for them and leave the house in a good state at the end of the year - we pay back the vast majority of damage deposits within a week of the end of the tenancy and last year only 2 houses required any deductions.

We aim to be very flexible in the way we deal with you. If there is something within reason that you think would make your lives better and improve the house we are happy to help.
